Spring is here!
Well, not according to the calendar but the weather certainly has arrived! Audience, you might be wondering why I, the biggest winter fangirl, am excited about spring. It just so happens, spring is my second favorite season. In fact, winter, spring, and autumn are all lovely seasons; winter just happens to be much lovelier.
As for the other one...Summer can go suffocate in the toxic heat buried beneath the Earth's crust. In other words, I loath that season particularly.
Whereas, the season of spring is always welcome in my heart and home. Required that it stays for more than two weeks a year.
You, dear audience, might be saying, "Mare, it is all fine and well to be excited for spring, but what has been happening in your life lately?"
Ah, yes.
Recently, I traveled to Vermont to visit my mother's cousin Morris. It had been many years since I had seen Morris, so this trip was a special treat.
I am working on piecing together something out of the ordinary, a different style, for that trip. Basically, I want to write a post about it that is set apart from my normal narrative. I'm leaning towards lyrical, heads up.
While that post is in the works, please be patient. If there was wonderful news about anything else, I would have written about it.
So, let us all look forward to spring, and hope that it is a long one.
Until then audience!
